Remarkable People, Places, Times

WELCOME, HAERE MAI, AND GIDDAY
Writing has been a lifelong passion
I am driven by a deep curiosity into people, into places, into times.
My son-in-law teases me for always saying, “Now that’s interesting.”
“But is it?” he asks. “Is it really?”
And yes, it always genuinely is.
I particularly enjoy the challenges of writing across genres. My novels span different countries, different eras, different themes.
But whether they're rollicking historical tales, upbeat, contemporary romance or young adult time travel, what unites all these books are strong women protagonists.
Apart from my novels, I’ve also published short stories, articles and creative non-fiction. I’m fascinated by what drives us to change, to innovate – and how we cope with disasters we create in the process!

TESTIMONIALS
"I loved this book - the perfect historical fiction novel! Full of adventure, plot twists, romance and strong, talented and spunky male AND female characters. Set in the late 1800’s it follows Georgiana’s unconventional journey from England to New Zealand during the gold rush. Thoroughly enjoyed!"
Sarah - Goodreads
"Loved this book. The characters are so real, and it's the kind of book you can just curl up in bed with, on a cold night - or on the sofa with chocolate. The heroine, Guinevere, is British aristocracy in New Zealand, but she's feisty and doesn't mind getting her hands dirty. Quinn is an Irishman who hates the English. He clashes all the time with Guinevere, but there's an obvious spark there, even if it's against his better judgement. The minor characters all play their part too - Zana, would love a sequel about Jack and Stella. A lovely, lovely read."
